You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to ensure optimal stock levels. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to identify and resolve inventory issues, improve stockroom organization, and implement best practices for inventory management. - Performing daily cycle counts and physical inventories accurately.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies between system inventory and physical stock.
- Analyzing inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Implementing inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Maintaining accurate records of all inventory movements and adjustments.
- Coordinating with receiving and shipping departments to ensure proper inventory handling.
- Identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock and reporting findings.
- Ensuring proper storage and organization of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
- Adhering to all warehouse Safety regulations and protocols.
- Using appropriate PPE and following safe lifting practices.
- Utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and other inventory software.
