Our Cincinnati, Ohio facility is looking for a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Associate to manage the inbound and outbound flow of goods. This critical role ensures the accurate and timely movement of inventory, playing a vital part in our supply chain and overall logistics operations. You will be responsible for processing all incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and stocking received items. On the outbound side, you'll prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring they are correctly labeled, packaged, and staged for carriers. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to Safety are essential. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to operate material handling equipment. - Accepting, inspecting, and signing for incoming deliveries.
- Accurately entering received goods into the inventory management system.
- Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Organizing and stocking received materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Preparing outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling.
- Coordinating with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Ensuring all work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to Safety protocols.
- Proper use of PPE is mandatory.
- Performing tasks that involve lifting up to 60 pounds.
- Utilizing safe lifting practices and material handling equipment.
