Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our warehouse inventory, which is a cornerstone of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for implementing and refining inventory control systems, conducting regular audits, managing stock levels, and resolving discrepancies. Your duties will include analyzing inventory data, identifying trends, and recommending process improvements to optimize stock management. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency with inventory management software. Experience with warehouse operations and supply chain principles is highly valued. While this position focuses on analysis and process, some moderate Lifting may be required. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the WMS.
  • Ensure optimal stock levels and minimize stock-outs or overstock situations.
  • Adhere to all Safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth product flow.
  • Train team members on inventory control procedures and best practices.
