We are looking for a certified Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Dallas, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout our warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. A valid forklift certification is essential for this role. We are committed to providing a secure workplace and expect all operators to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to operate machinery with precision. You will be a vital part of our logistics network, ensuring the smooth flow of goods. Experience with various types of forklifts is highly desirable. This role involves regular lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and placement.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks up to 60 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Commitment to safety and proper PPE usage.
