Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport products to and from storage areas, staging areas, and shipping docks.
- Perform regular equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock placement.
- Ensure that all goods are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Follow specific instructions for order picking, packing, and staging.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members.
- Follow all company guidelines to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Knowledge of safe material handling practices and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to perform lifting and other physical tasks as required.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to strictly adhere to safety protocols and wear required PPE.
