We are looking for a diligent and efficient Order Picker to join our vibrant warehouse team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders from warehouse shelves using a pick list or scanner. Your ability to work quickly and accurately ensures that our customers receive their correct orders in a timely manner. This position involves navigating the warehouse, locating items, and preparing them for packing and shipment. A good understanding of inventory management and a keen eye for detail are essential. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices. This role is physically active and requires the ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout your shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Use pick lists or electronic scanners to identify and locate items.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are picked.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Comfortable with frequent lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and logistics is beneficial.
