Are you a proven leader with a passion for warehouse operations and logistics? We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage our facility in Boise, Idaho. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and the highest standards of Safety. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance management. Your responsibilities will include managing inventory, optimizing workflow, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems, and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive work environment. This is a critical role that impacts our entire supply chain and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including shipping, receiving, and material handling.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse workflows and operational procedures to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts and system reconciliation.
- Oversee the safe operation of all warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Enforce strict adherence to Safety protocols and ensure all team members utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development to the warehouse team.
- Manage the scheduling of inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating with carriers and suppliers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address any performance issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
- Investigate and resolve any operational discrepancies or issues that arise, focusing on continuous improvement in all logistics processes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics management. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team. Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS). Ability to develop and implement operational strategies. Must be able to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting. A strong commitment to Safety and regulatory compliance is essential. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
