Join our bustling Miami, Florida warehouse as a Picker/Packer! We need efficient and detail-oriented individuals to accurately select and prepare items for shipment. This role is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, ensuring customer orders are processed correctly and sent out promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect items for damage and verify quantities.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Use RF scanners and other warehouse equipment responsibly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and follow all Safety guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies, including the mandatory use of required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and quality standards.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail is crucial for order accuracy.
- Capacity for physical activity, including frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to wear and maintain all mandated PPE, such as safety vests.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
