Join our vibrant warehouse team in Virginia Beach, Virginia as an Order Picker! We are searching for diligent individuals to accurately select and prepare products for shipment. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick items from warehouse shelves according to digital or paper pick lists.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Safely use equipment like pallet jacks and RF scanners.
- Maintain a tidy and hazard-free workspace, ensuring compliance with Safety regulations.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory management.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to achieve daily picking targets.
- Report any stock issues, damages, or discrepancies promptly.
- Follow all guidelines to ensure personal and team Safety.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in order picking or warehouse environments is beneficial.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced operational setting.
- Keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability for sustained work, including Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse procedures and logistics.
- Dependability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to consistently wear required PPE, such as safety vests and shoes.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
