This involves using order lists, RF scanners, and other picking equipment to locate and retrieve products. Your ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure is essential. We foster a strong safety culture, and all team members are expected to adhere to strict safety guidelines and utilize appropriate PPE. The role requires significant physical activity, including frequent walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. Maintaining an organized and clean workspace is also a key component of this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Ensure the correct items and quantities are picked for each order.
- Package items appropriately for transport.
- Stage picked orders for the shipping department.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and RF scanner data.
- Capability for regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
