We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position is critical for the efficient movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. You will operate forklifts to transport goods, load and unload trucks, and manage inventory placement. Safety is our top priority, and we are looking for individuals who share this commitment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proven ability to operate forklifts safely and effectively in a warehouse setting. Your contribution will directly impact our overall logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after each shift, reporting any damages or malfunctions.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse aisles and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Verify product accuracy and counts before and after transport.
- Report any damaged goods or discrepancies to supervisors immediately.
- Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
