We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including cycle counting, receiving, stocking, and shipping. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a proven ability to manage large datasets. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to identify discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and improve overall inventory processes. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular physical counts, reconciling inventory records with actual stock, investigating and resolving stock discrepancies, managing inventory adjustments, and assisting with the implementation of new inventory control technologies. You will also be responsible for monitoring stock levels, identifying slow-moving or obsolete items, and providing reports on inventory status and performance to management. A key part of this role involves ensuring proper PPE is utilized and adhering to all Safety protocols. The ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 50 pounds, is necessary. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes.
- Manage inventory adjustments and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee the receiving and put-away process, ensuring accurate stock placement.
- Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE .
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory issues.
- Assist with the training of new inventory control personnel.
- Analyze inventory data and provide insights for operational improvements.
- Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our Logistics operations.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate physical exertion, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
