This will be a hybrid role where we expect employees to work from office three days a week./ppWe are seeking a Software Engineer to join the Ema team. You are passionate about designing and developing maintainable software applications. You are a creative problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and can make abstract problems concrete. Most importantly, you are excited to be part of a mission-oriented, fast-paced, high-growth startup that can create a lasting impact./ppYou will:/pulliDevelop and maintain enterprise software applications, including API, data, application, and service development/liliWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code by employing a test-driven development process./liliBuild scalable and reliable back-end systems using languages like Go and Python/liliDevelop and maintain APIs using REST and gRPC/liliBuild and maintain scalable and extensible data schemas using PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, etc./liliContribute to front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular/liliEnsure that applications are secure and adhere to industry best practices/liliContinuously improve software development processes and practices/li/ulpIdeally, youd have:/pulliBachelors degree in Computer Science or related field./liliAt least 4 years of relevant work experience./liliSolid background in algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming/liliExperience in back-end development using languages like Python and Go/liliKnowledge of database technologies like PostgreSQL, Elastic, Redis./liliKnowledge of designing and building API platforms and integration systems./liliExperience with cloud technologies like GCP, AWS and Azure/liliExperience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes/liliExperience with integrating multiple enterprise applications, including frameworks and authentication./liliUnderstanding of security best practices and protocols for enterprise software applications/li/ululliExperience deploying software in multi-tenant SaaS environments./liliKnowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular/li/ululliStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail/liliAbility to work independently and as part of a team/liliExperience working with global teams/li/ulpFor California based candidates: The standard base salary for this position is $135,000-$200,000 annually./ppCompensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
