*Job Summary*
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine dining and possess a strong understanding of food handling and preparation techniques. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals that meet our restaurant's standards and delight our guests. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Assist in menu planning and development, contributing innovative ideas for seasonal dishes.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed.
* Provide support to dietary aides when preparing specialized meals for guests with dietary restrictions.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as a Cook in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
* Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and culinary best practices.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
* A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
