Cyber Security Analyst This role is remote. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze cyber security alerts from tools like Bitdefender and Exabeam SIEM, and email security tools, performing initial incident triage and response. Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and security reviews for infrastructure, while preparing engaging monthly SOC reports and dashboards. Monitor CCTV feeds and badge access systems, conducting proactive physical security outreach to ensure compliance and safety of facilities. Prepare detailed monthly SOC dashboards and reports, maintaining metrics for alert volumes, SLAs, and compliance KPIs. Manage L1 client tickets related to company security products, including intake, categorization, troubleshooting, known fixes, and timely escalation. Participate in shifts, on-call duties, and incident post-mortems to continuously improve security processes. Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks, contributing to a comprehensive knowledge base for recurring issues. Perform other tasks and responsibilities as needed. Experience Requirements: 3-6 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC). Desired Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, with familiarity in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and physical access systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, essential for client interactions and team collaboration. Understanding of SIEM fundamentals; familiarity with correlation, parsing, and basic query building in Exabeam or similar platforms. Experience with EDR/AV alert handling; proficiency in Bitdefender GravityZone preferred. Knowledge of network, endpoint, identity, and email security, including common attack techniques (MITRE ATT&CK). Exposure to physical security operations is a plus, including CCTV monitoring and badge/access control workflows. Experience with ticketing systems and SLA-driven support (ServiceNow); strong documentation skills. Reporting proficiency in Excel, with basic data visualization skills, and comfort with dashboards. Exemplary communication and collaboration skills with IT/facilities teams. Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Why Join Us?
