HR Manager

The Role

As our HR Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our organizational culture. You won't just be managing "personnel"—you will be a strategic partner to our leadership team, ensuring that ARV Finance remains the best place to work in the San Diego real estate finance sector. This is a "hands-on" role where you will oversee everything from talent acquisition and compliance to employee engagement and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition:
  Lead the full-cycle recruitment process to attract top-tier talent in our industry.
• Culture & Engagement:
  Develop initiatives that strengthen team morale, promote our core values, and maintain our reputation as an industry leader.
• Performance Management:
  Implement and oversee performance review cycles, providing coaching to managers on feedback and career pathing.
• Compliance & Risk:
  Ensure all HR practices comply with California labor laws and federal regulations.
• Benefits & Compensation:
  Manage our competitive benefits packages and conduct regular market analysis to ensure we remain a top employer.
• Onboarding:
  Create a seamless "first 90 days" experience that integrates new hires into the ARV Finance mission.

Who You Are

• The San Diego Expert:
  You understand the local market and have a network within the Southern California professional community.
• The Strategic Generalist:
  You have
  5+ years of HR experience
  , preferably within the finance, real estate, or professional services sectors.
• A People Person:
  You possess high emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with discretion and grace.
• Detail-Oriented:
  You take pride in organized systems and accurate documentation.
• Certified:
  PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP/SCP certification is highly preferred.
