Position Overview

The Shift Manager plays a key role in daily store operations, ensuring outstanding guest service, team leadership, and operational excellence. This position is responsible for supervising team members during assigned shifts, supporting sales and profitability goals, maintaining store standards, and exercising strong critical-thinking skills to manage day-to-day challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all team member duties while setting the standard for exceptional guest service
• Lead, train, coach, and develop team members through ongoing feedback and support
• Foster a positive, welcoming environment for guests and staff
• Conduct regular product knowledge and policy training
• Build and maintain strong guest relationships to drive loyalty and satisfaction
• Oversee inventory, merchandising standards, and stock levels
• Assist with payroll, scheduling, and daily operational tasks
• Ensure compliance with cash handling, deposits, receiving, and safety procedures
• Participate in store walkthroughs and operational reviews
• Safeguard store merchandise in accordance with company policies
• Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving and delegation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of shift employees
• Responsible for team engagement, development, and performance during assigned shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
