What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Lead the delivery of retail construction and renovation projects from conception to completion
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for various construction initiatives
• Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with client requirements
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and safety compliance
• Provide regular project status reports to clients and internal leadership

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in retail or commercial construction
• Strong understanding of construction processes and retail industry requirements
• Proficiency in project management software such as Procore or Microsoft Project
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders effectively

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Master's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience with major retail chains or mixed-use developments
• Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED certification processes
• Previous experience working with national retail brands
• Proficiency in construction scheduling software such as Primavera P6
