Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service from the moment they arrive. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and inviting demeanor.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Provide accurate wait times and maintain communication with guests during their wait.
• Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
• Utilize POS system OpenTable for managing reservations.
• Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality throughout the dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous Host/Host experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
• Strong background in food service and customer service roles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with guest services and relations to enhance the overall dining experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also managing individual responsibilities.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus, particularly OpenTable and Toast.
