Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for the culinary arts, and the ability to efficiently manage time while providing excellent service to our guests. This role involves both serving customers and handling cash transactions, ensuring a smooth dining experience.

Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and taking their orders accurately.
• Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS system to process transactions efficiently.
• Prepare food items in accordance with safety and sanitation standards, ensuring high-quality presentation.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, including cash handling and providing change accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary skills and knowledge of food handling practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred, with familiarity in cashiering and customer service roles.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in sanitation is essential.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus, along with basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Culinary experience or kitchen experience is beneficial for understanding food preparation processes.
