Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a talented, motivated, and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D team. In this role, you will drive design and development for automotive applications and work closely with cross-functional teams to advance AUO's vision for innovation and excellence.

As part of the team, you will: 

· Work with customers to develop new automotive display products as an integration mechanical designer, directly engaging with the OEM/Tier1 customer on instrument clusters, center displays and other infotainment related products.

· Create internal design specifications and BOM based on internal and OEM customer requirements.

· Develop and optimize mechanical designs related to integrating display unit to vehicle cockpit for various applications.

· Demonstrate high proficiency in CAD software (CATIA and/or NX) to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings. Able to generate DFMEA and conduct design review, technical discussions with customer/internal design/manufacturing/quality team and suppliers.

· Complete cost analysis based on material selection and manufacturing processes (injection molding, die-casting, sheet metal, etc.) to ensure performance and reliability.

· Facilitate and discuss stress, thermal analysis, and other simulations based on hardware module design.

· Manage CAD model/drawing data
