Join our culinary team as a Sous Chef, where your passion for food and creativity can shine In this role, you will assist in managing kitchen operations while ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Prior experience is preferred, but not required. Attitude and effort are the highest priority. You'll work closely with the head chef to create memorable dining experiences for our guests, all while maintaining a positive and energetic kitchen environment.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with the head chef to develop and execute innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and best practices
  • Manage food preparation and cooking processes to guarantee timely service during peak hours
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels
  • Assist in catering events, ensuring exceptional service and presentation for all guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, upholding health regulations at all times
  • Contribute to menu planning by providing input on new dishes and seasonal offerings
  • Lead by example, cultivating a team-oriented atmosphere that encourages creativity and professional growth

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in a culinary role within casual dining and/or high-volume restaurant settings

Preferred qualifications

  • Banquet experience
  • Background in food production and preparation
  • Team management skills with a focus on leadership
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control processes
  • Familiarity with food service management principles
  • Culinary certifications or relevant training
