Belt Filter Operator role is to start up or shut down the following systems (F-24 System, East System, West System, Raw Clay)which ever is being used.
Essential Job Functions:
- Must be able to operate Flash Dryers.
- Must be able to insure roller mill specifications.
- Must be able to insure efficient operations of Horizontal belt filters.
- Must be able to insure dust collector system is working correctly.
- Must be able to check Fuller-Kinyon pumping.
- Samples must be delivered to the laboratory every two hours.
- Must follow all applicable procedures and work instructions to assure feed products, adsorbents
- and catalysts are manufactured to meet customer specifications.
Must prevent contamination of feed products with activated adsorbents and catalysts. - All housekeeping duties must be performed.
- Must be able to operate the pin mixer.
- Must be able to control product in 1213 bin used in agglomeration as well as 1234 and 1233 bins.
- Must be able to operate dense phase pumping system.
- Must be able to operate the wet and dry screeners as needed.
- Must be able to operate the CB-10 pumping system.
- Must be able to operate #3 dryer controls and dust collector.
- Must be able to operate F-24 system.
- Must follow all applicable procedures and work instructions to assure feed products, adsorbents
and catalysts are manufactured to meet customer specifications. - Responsible to meet site safety requirements and quality and food/feed safety requirements
- Other similar duties, as assigned
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must know location and operation of safety equipment (showers, fire extinguishers, evacuation
plan, and lock out tag out procedure of equipment. - Must be knowledgeable of the Lamella operation including the start up and shut down of the
injection well pumps and sour water pumps with disconnects. - Must be knowledgeable of the Polymer & K041 systems operation including the start up and shut
down of these systems. - Must have basic reading, writing skills.
