Tow Truck Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and assisting customers in need, ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate tow trucks to transport vehicles safely to designated locations.
• Perform vehicle loading and unloading with care, ensuring no damage occurs during the process.
• Conduct routine inspections of the tow truck and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
• Utilize conflict management skills to handle difficult situations with professionalism and calmness.
• Demonstrate proficiency in driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles as required.
• Apply automotive diagnostics skills to assess vehicle conditions when necessary.
• Assist with minor automotive repairs or mechanical issues as needed during towing operations.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving tow trucks is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Capability to manage conflicts professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy loads as required.
• Previous experience in towing or roadside assistance is an advantage but not mandatory.
