Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled
Software Test Engineer
with a strong background in system testing and troubleshooting across complex environments. This role will focus on validating software and hardware integration within test cells and vehicle systems, ensuring robust performance and reliability for advanced powertrain and electrification technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive software and system test plans for engine, EV components, and power generation systems.
  • Perform
    test cell and vehicle interaction testing
    , ensuring compliance with performance and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot
    DC electrical systems
    and
    CAN network communications
    to identify and resolve issues.
  • Configure and utilize
    data loggers
    for capturing and analyzing system performance data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate
    network/server interfaces
    and ensure seamless integration.
  • Conduct testing in
    Cloud/Azure environments
    , leveraging modern tools for data management and analysis.
  • Apply
    mechanical knowledge
    to support system-level testing and integration.
  • Design and implement
    robotics solutions
    for automated testing processes.
  • Provide
    customer support
    for technical inquiries and assist in resolving field issues.
  • Work collaboratively within a
    team-oriented environment
    , contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
    (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or related field).
  • 7+ years of experience
    in software/system testing within automotive or power systems industries.
  • Hands-on experience with
    test cell operations
    and/or vehicle system interactions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in
    DC electrical systems
    and
    CAN network protocols
    .
  • Proficiency with
    data logging tools
    and interpreting performance data.
  • Experience working in
    Cloud/Azure environments
    for testing and data management.
  • Familiarity with
    network/server interfaces
    and system integration.
  • Solid
    mechanical aptitude
    for supporting hardware/software integration.
  • Knowledge of
    robotics design and implementation
    for testing automation.
  • Excellent communication skills and a
    customer support mindset
