NOBULL is seeking a Merchandise Planner to support the development of forecasting, merchandise planning, and inventory management capabilities for our rapidly growing organization. This role will help drive improved visibility, day‑to‑day decision‑making, and cross‑functional alignment. The Merchandise Planner will report to the Sr. Manager of Merchandise Planning and partner closely with Merchandising, Marketing, and Finance to support business performance and operational execution.
Responsibilities:- Maintain and update Open‑to‑Buy (OTB) reports, forecasting sales, gross margin, and inventory turn at the Style and SKU level.
- Run and compile routine reporting on SKU performance, inventory position, sales trends, and product velocity.
- Support the development of seasonal and in‑season merchandise plans aligned to financial targets.
- Assist in in‑season reforecasting efforts by analyzing current performance and preparing updated projections for the Merchandise Planning team.
- Identify and communicate in‑season risks and opportunities at the Style and SKU level, providing recommendations to the merchant team.
- Support product assortment planning and architecture across item, color, and size ranges.
- Collaborate with Merchandising and Marketing to propose markdown strategies aimed at achieving sales, margin, and inventory goals.
- Manage replenishment plans to ensure optimal stock levels and support demand.
- Execute purchase orders for seasonal and replenishment buys in alignment with planning direction.
- Manage Inventory health with the Inventory team, ensuring visibility to the Merchandising teams to make decisions on markdowns and move through aged Inventory
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to help inform business insights and opportunity areas.
- Work with Operations team to provide shipping Instructions to manage optimal inventory levels & on time delivery to launch goals.
- Support ongoing analyses, projects, and process improvement efforts across the Planning function.
- 2+ years of merchandise planning, allocation, or related analytical experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
- Comfortable with standard business tools (Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom).
- Experience with planning systems (Tableau, NetSuite, or similar) preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn and take ownership of work.
- Positive attitude and strong team orientation.
