Are you excited about this Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Night Shift job?As a new Part Time Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) on the night shift at Sunny Ridge, you can expect a fulfilling and dynamic work environment. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting residents with their daily living activities, monitoring their health status, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the night. You'll be working closely with the nursing staff to provide timely care, document patient progress, and address any concerns that arise. Your expected schedule will be on Wednesday and Thursday Nights, allowing you to balance work with personal commitments. This has the potential to be full time hours.

Training
- On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience
What do we ask from you?
Requirements
- Current CNA certification
- Effective communication with coworkers and residents
- Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care
Job Duties
- Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
- Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
- Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
- Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
- Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
- Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
Skilled nursing facilities provide care for geriatric patients who require 24/7 care
