Expo/Food Runner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Expo/Food Runner to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth food service operations by efficiently delivering dishes from the kitchen to guests, maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of food handling and restaurant procedures. Responsibilities

• Deliver prepared food items promptly from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing
• Clear tables and assist with bussing to maintain cleanliness and readiness of dining spaces
• Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and guests to ensure seamless service flow
• Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, adhering to food safety standards
• Assist in setting up banquet or special event dining arrangements when required
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously

Experience
Candidates with prior experience in food service or restaurant environments are a must. Relevant skills include serving, food preparation, bussing, cooking, guest services, hospitality, and food safety. Experience with hotel or culinary settings is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential. Candidates should demonstrate a professional attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
