Water / Wastewater Operator

ANTRIM WATER & SEWER DEPARTMENT – EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

One Opening for Water/Wastewater Operator.

The Town of Antrim Water & Sewer Department is seeking a full-time Water/Wastewater Operator to perform both skilled and unskilled work in the operation and maintenance of the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant, equipment, facilities, and collection systems. The Employee will work under the supervision of the Antrim Water/Wastewater Superintendent.

Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment plant systems and equipment including but not limited to pipelines, valves, fire hydrants, pumps, meters, computer systems, and ArcGIS mapping software.

Pay is hourly with paid overtime, commensurate with experience, training and licenses possessed.

Schedule: Full-time position. Overtime is required, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency response during system failures or inclement weather.

Requirements: Valid New Hampshire Driver's License with clean history, Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions, and Strong work ethic and ability to work independently. Municipal Water/Wastewater Facility experience preferred.
