Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods and materials efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, warehouse operations, and handling various loading equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining safety standards. The Driver will play a key role in supporting our logistics operations and maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for route driving and deliveries
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers while adhering to scheduled routes
• Assist with moving items within warehouses or client sites as needed
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns professionally
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during daily operations

Experience

• Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred, especially with route driving and load & unload tasks
• Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with forklift operation and pallet jacks
• Proven ability to operate box trucks and vehicles with manual transmission is desirable
• Experience with heavy lifting, moving items, and handling cargo safely is essential
• Customer service skills are important for maintaining positive client interactions
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driver experience is highly valued
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and warehouse operations

This position requires candidates to demonstrate strong driving skills, attention to safety, and excellent customer service capabilities. Applicants should be prepared for physically demanding tasks involving heavy lifting and moving cargo efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
