This role is designed for someone who wants to become a Project Manager, not just assist one.

The Role

The Project Manager Associate (PMA) is a development role designed to train future Project Managers. You will work directly under a Project Manager and General Manager, learning how to run jobs end-to-end — from scope and documentation to scheduling, customer communication, and financial controls. This is a high-accountability role with a clear promotion path.

What You'll Be Learning & Doing

• Assist PMs with job setup, scheduling, and execution
• Support documentation (photos, notes, job files, compliance)
• Help manage scopes, change orders, and supplements
• Coordinate crews, vendors, and subcontractors
• Communicate with homeowners, property managers, and adjusters
• Track job progress, timelines, and budgets
• Support invoicing and collections processes
• Learn margin management and cost control
• Participate in job reviews and after-action debriefs

Financial & Performance Expectations

You will be trained to understand Poseidon's margin standards. You are expected to learn how decisions in the field affect profitability, schedule, and customer experience.

Requirements

Required

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Basic construction or restoration knowledge (or strong aptitude)
• Proficiency with basic software (email, docs, CRM/job systems)
• Valid driver's license

Preferred

• Experience in restoration, construction, or insurance-related work
• Familiarity with estimating, scopes, or project coordination
• Desire to lead people and projects
