About the Hotel

Hotel Indigo Frisco is a boutique hotel under the IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) family, known for its neighborhood-inspired design, elevated service, and personalized guest experiences. Unlike traditional restaurants, our breakfast service is primarily focused on hotel guests, many of whom are business travelers, athletes, and families.

Position Summary

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and service-driven Breakfast Server to join our Food & Beverage team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mornings, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that hotel service is different than a standard restaurant setting.

Breakfast service in a hotel requires flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail — servers assist with more than just table service, which is reflected in both responsibilities and compensation.

Pay & Compensation

• Base Pay: $10.00 per hour
• Tips: Yes
• Typical Earnings: Most breakfast servers earn $15–$24 per hour with tips, depending on occupancy and guest volume

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive breakfast service
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
• Monitor tables and proactively refill coffee, juice, and water
• Assist with light food running, stocking, and resetting tables
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, server stations, and coffee/juice stations
• Support dishwashing and light kitchen tasks as needed
• Ensure a positive guest experience, even during peak occupancy morning

Important Note About Hotel Service

This position is different from a traditional restaurant server role. Due to hotel staffing models:

• Servers may assist with stocking, cleaning, dishwashing, and prep
• Team members often work independently or in very small teams
• Flexibility and teamwork are essential
• Pay reflects these additional responsibilities

Schedule Expectations

• Early morning shifts (typically starting around 6:00 AM)
• Shifts usually end by late morning or early afternoon
• Weekends and holidays required
• Schedule may flex based on hotel occupancy

• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)
• Strong guest service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift
