Position Overview

Cafe Team Members support daily cafe and concession operations during tournaments and events by delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient food service environment. This role may include Front of House (Cashier) and Back of House (Food Prep) responsibilities. Cafe Team Members play a key role in creating a positive experience for players, families, and staff in a fast-paced, event-driven setting.

Responsibilities

Front of House (Cashier / FOH):

• Provide friendly and professional customer service to all guests
• Accurately ring up customer orders and handle cash and card transactions
• Answer menu-related questions and assist customers as needed
• Maintain awareness of wait times and prioritize efficiency during peak hours

Back of House (Food Prep / BOH):

• Prepare and serve beverages, snacks, and light meals following safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation and storage areas
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• General Duties:
• Communicate any issues or potential concerns to the Shift Lead and/or Manager
• Maintain a clean and organized cafe area throughout the shift
• Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
• Collaborate with teammates to uphold cafe standards and event operations
• Follow health, safety, and company policies at all times
• Arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled shift start time
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with FOH or BOH
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Food handling certification or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to work for long hours with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred

• Prior experience in food service, cafe, concessions, or retail
• Familiarity with Square POS system and cash handling
• Food Handler Card (or willingness to obtain one)
