Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver products across designated routes
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures
• Plan efficient routes to maximize delivery speed and accuracy while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns with a positive attitude
• Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete all necessary paperwork accurately
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal operation
• Assist in warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock, and organizing shipments as needed

Experience

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving familiarity
• Hands-on experience with warehouse operations including loading, unloading, heavy lifting, and moving goods
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) or driver certification is a plus
• Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission is desirable
• Familiarity with forklift operation and pallet jacks is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently in compliance with safety standards
