Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Site & Utilities Construction to oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong background in construction management, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency with industry-specific software tools. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget, contributing to the successful development of critical site and utility infrastructure.

Duties

• Lead and coordinate all phases of site and utilities construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
• Manage subcontractor contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Oversee blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation to guide construction activities.
• Monitor project progress through regular site visits, inspections, and coordination meetings with stakeholders.
• Implement safety protocols aligned with industry standards to maintain a safe work environment on-site.
• Utilize Project Sight and Trimble software for project documentation, communication, and reporting.
• Manage project risks proactively by identifying potential issues early and developing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all work aligns with design specifications, schematics, and regulatory requirements while maintaining high-quality standards.

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction site management in utility or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as Project Sight and Trimble.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost estimating, contracts administration, and blueprint reading.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Demonstrated ability in project coordination from planning through execution while maintaining strict adherence to timelines.
• Familiarity with schematics interpretation and construction schematics for utilities or civil infrastructure projects.
• Time management skills coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving within dynamic construction environments. Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in civil construction project management, with a strong focus on South Florida projects.
• Proven expertise in working with local agencies.
• Proficient in scheduling, budget creation, cost tracking, and project reporting.
• Experience in claims management and change order processes, with a strong understanding of contractual obligations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is highly preferred.
