Barista/Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated and experienced Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in customer service and food handling will ensure that every guest has an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments.
• Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are fresh and presented beautifully.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies; communicate needs to management as necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
