Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Handle cash transactions accurately using proper cash handling procedures and basic math skills
• Follow food safety protocols and food handling guidelines to ensure quality and compliance
• Assist in food preparation and serving of light snacks or bakery items as needed

Qualifications

• Prior barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for coffee is essential
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform retail math for cash register operations and sales tracking
• Basic math skills for cash handling, change calculation, and sales reconciliation
