Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to foster loyalty and satisfaction
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits
• Assist customers with product selection, upselling complementary items to maximize sales opportunities
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking activities
• Ensure the sales floor remains clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers
• Support inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and managing product rotation
• Apply basic math skills for cash handling, pricing adjustments, and sales calculations
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and improve store operations

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
• Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is a plus
• Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs
• Demonstrated strong communication skills and friendly phone etiquette
• Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in growth opportunities within the team
• Ability to perform basic retail math accurately and efficiently
