Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, controlling inventory, and maintaining high-quality dining experiences across various service settings including casual dining, fine dining, catering, and banquet events. The Food and Beverage Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence and fostering a welcoming environment for guests.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, catering, and banquet services
- Lead staff training and development to ensure high standards of food safety, customer service, and operational efficiency
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food production to minimize waste and optimize profitability
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales processing
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards across all food handling procedures
- Monitor shift management to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours while maintaining quality standards
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting related to food and beverage operations
- Collaborate with culinary teams to develop menus that meet customer expectations while adhering to budget constraints
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster positive guest experiences
- Oversee kitchen management including food preparation, cooking processes, and kitchen staff supervision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all food service areas in accordance with safety standards
Experience
- Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants, casual dining, or fine dining establishments
- Extensive background in food industry roles such as culinary experience, restaurant management, or hospitality management
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, staff training & development, interviewing, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, food safety protocols, catering services, banquet operations, and kitchen management is highly desirable
- Background working in hotel or hospitality environments with barista or coffee experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of food handling regulations, culinary techniques, and customer service excellence
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
