Location: Supperland, 1212 The Plaza Charlotte, NC 28205

Job Type: Part-time

Work Schedule: Tuesday Through Sunday evenings, after 3:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Supperland is seeking a friendly and professional Host to join our team. As a Host, you will play a critical role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring that they have an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer-facing role, be highly organized, and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant and seat them at their table
• Manage the waitlist, accurately estimate wait times, and inform guests of any changes or updates
• Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries from guests
• Maintain a clean and organized dining room
• Collaborate with servers and other team members to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests
• Perform various administrative tasks, such as maintaining guest records and updating menus

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, such as hosting or customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with reservation apps such as Tock, Toast, OpenTable
