Teacher Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating children in a safe and engaging environment. This role involves caring for infants and young children, supporting their development, and ensuring their well-being while fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Duties

• Provide attentive and nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, and nap times for infants and toddlers.
• Implement educational activities that support childhood development principles.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment by following health and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a supportive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience in daycare settings or as a nanny is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential.
• Familiarity with first aid practices is highly desirable.
• Background in early childhood education or special education is a plus.
• Strong caregiving skills with the ability to connect with children of various ages.
• Experience working with students or in classroom settings is beneficial.
• Ability to create engaging activities that cater to different developmental stages.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and staff.
