Venue Coordinator

We're looking for an extremely friendly and kind Venue Coordinator to join our events team This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping others, and has a natural sense of hospitality.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcoming guests and providing excellent customer service during event
• Ensuring the venue is clean, organized, and ready for each event
• Moving tables, chairs, arches, etc.
• Completing necessary checklists at the end of the event with clients.
• Restocking items and making copies during down time on event days.
• Cleaning the office at the end of a shift - sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc.
• Tiding up our decor closet at the end of every shift - sweeping, mopping, making sure everything is put back to its proper place
• Dumping trash as needed during events
• Doing a final inspection of the entire building and property to ensure no belongings or trash are left behind at the end of the event.
• Taking quality pictures and videos of events to send to our social media team
• Able to resolve conflicts that may occur with clients in a timely professional manner

Requirements:

• Warm, positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Available to work weekdays, weekends and some evenings
• Available to work 10-12 hour shifts
• Able to lift/move light event equipment as needed
• Previous event or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
