JOB SUMMARY
Keeps assigned office buildings, retail stores or other buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties. Must adhere to all Goodwill Industries of Lane and South Coast Counties rules, policies and safety procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sweeps, mops, scrubs, dusts, and/or vacuums as needed by hand or by using equipment such as: floor scrubbers, buffers, and/or carpet cleaning machines.
Clean restrooms, refill paper supplies.
Empties trash and garbage containers.
Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk.
Keeps equipment and janitorial supplies stored safely and orderly.
Notifies management of any needed repairs or additions to lighting, heating, ventilation, or other equipment.
Other duties may be assigned.
JOB EXPECTATIONS
Reports to work as scheduled, regularly and on time. Notifies supervisor as soon as possible regarding the need and expected duration of any absence.
Possess the knowledge necessary to operate and maintain all equipment safely and efficiently.
Meet and exceed mystery shopper by 90% or higher.
Maintain well-groomed appearance and acceptable dress in compliance with GILSCC's dress guidelines. (See Handbook policy 172)
Follows all policies, procedures, work rules, and safety guidelines.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, CARF standards and safety and security regulations.
Ability to read product labels, MSDS sheets, and/or written instructions.
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions accurately.
Must be able to function independently and as part of a team.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must not present a direct threat to the safety and health of self, others or to property.
No record or disclosure of criminal conviction that indicates a tendency toward theft, violence, dishonesty, deceit, drug manufacture or sale, moral turpitude, or predatory behavior.
Must provide identification and eligibility to work in the United States of America.
Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug-screening test.
Must be able communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
Must exercise good judgment.
Be flexible in work assignment to accommodate changing demands.
Must have sufficient command of the English language to communicate with customers, co-workers and supervisors.

EXPERIENCE
One to three months related experience and/or training.
EDUCATION
No minimum education requirement.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certificates, licenses and registrations in block paragraph format, no indent.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF WORK REQUIREMENTS

WORK ENVIRONMENT  
Works indoors in a store setting. Environment is heated and may be air-conditioned. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
WORK HOURS
Must be available during store hours, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
