Plumbing Technician

Overview
We are seeking a New Jersey Plumber to join our team. We currently have a part time position, the may lead to full time. This role requires hands-on expertise and the ability to work effectively on service and installation calls.

Duties

• Perform estimating to assess project costs and resource requirements.
• Execute plumbing tasks including installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Utilize copper welding techniques for metal fabrication and repairs as needed.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently on job sites.
• Conduct field service operations, addressing issues in real-time at various locations.
• Engage in pipe threading for plumbing installations and repairs.
• Apply basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations.
• Handle heavy lifting as required during the execution of duties.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites and vehicles.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.

Qualifications

• Journeyman License
• Proven experience in plumbing industry, with a strong background in plumbing
• Familiarity with HVAC is a plus, but not required.
• Previous experience in field service roles is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• A valid driving license is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $ $45.00 per hour
