Private Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Private Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care and support to clients with diverse needs. Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure patient well-being
• Administer medication following prescribed care plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient privacy
• Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met safely and hygienically
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental health and reduce feelings of isolation
• Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to assist with mobility and prevent injury during transfers
• Conduct patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior, reporting findings promptly to healthcare professionals

Skills

• Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments
• Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
• Strong understanding of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment
• Ability to perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
• Experience working with care plans tailored to individual needs and goals
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, residents' families, and other caregivers
