Compensation:
$150,000 at plan commission
Responsibilities:
- This is a sales position; prospecting is your number one daily activity
- Conduct consultations with both potential and existing clients to offer tailored insurance and financial services solutions
- Thoroughly assess and explain different coverage options to clients, addressing their unique needs
- Collaborate efficiently with underwriting teams to simplify insurance procedures
- Manage the claims process, including conducting necessary visits for swift assessment and processing
- Employ marketing strategies to help build your business
- Maintain accurate records of clients and business transactions to uphold precision and organization
- Stay updated on industry regulations and new product offerings
- Oversee business operations, including budgeting and recruitment tasks, to ensure seamless functioning
- Employ various marketing techniques to attract new clients and expand the existing policyholder portfolio
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required
- Some experience with accounting or sales lead software is beneficial
- Proven understanding of the insurance industry including insurance products, risk management and any state and federal regulations
Basic computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
Experience in sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and loyalty
- Proven track record of effectively managing business operations, including budgeting and recruitment
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain complex insurance and financial concepts to clients
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in prospecting and marketing efforts
- Experience in the finance or insurance industry is preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in using CRM software to maintain accurate client and business records is a plus
