Barista

Overview

We are looking for friendly and passionate individuals to join our team as a Barista at Ben Gong's Tea Annandale Team As part of our team, you will:

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of boba tea drinks and other menu items.
• Take customer orders, operate the cash register, and handle payments.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
• Follow recipes and ensure drink consistency and quality.
• Store Cleaning duties.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, reliable, and a team player.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.
• Previous experience in similar roles (Required).
• Familiarity with POS systems or similar cash register systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to interact effectively with customers.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Job Types: Part-time / Full Time

Pay: $ $15 per hour (based on the profile especially the experience)

Shifts for the first vacancy:

• Fri - Sun: 12pm-4pm

Shifts for the second vacancy:

• Fri - Sun: 4pm-10pm

Shifts for the third vacancy:

• Sat: 12pm-10pm
• Sun: 12pm-9pm

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
• Barista/Toppings/Cashier (Front) or similar: 1 year (Required)

Language:

• English (Required)
• Chinese (Preferred)
• Spanish (Preferred)
