Senior DevOps Software Engineer , where you will be instrumental in creating scalable and resilient infrastructure as well as Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines that enhance the full software development lifecycle. Collaborate closely with our Product Teams to embed DevOps best practices within agile workflows, ensuring swift integration, automated testing, and deployment. Your contributions will significantly enhance the reliability, performance, and maintainability of our applications, aligning with our commitment to high standards of software quality and operational excellence. In your role, you will bridge the gap between development and operations, facilitating smooth delivery of microservices and cloud-native solutions. You will also mentor a dynamic team of DevOps engineers, promoting a culture of engineering rigor and continuous learning through peer reviews and technical workshops. Key Responsibilities: Engineer and automate secure Cloud Infrastructure using Azure and AWS, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins for best practices. Drive the adoption of IaC within Service Operations and Delivery, mentoring teams on reusable code patterns and DevOps pipelines. Design and implement modern compute architectures, including containerized and serverless solutions, focusing on scalability and maintainability. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines as software products, ensuring robust testing and deployment orchestration. Architect and support Cloud Native solutions, adhering to software engineering principles. Integrate observability into systems using telemetry and logging for proactive issue detection. Align infrastructure solutions with enterprise DevOps and Security standards, contributing to governance and compliance. Mentor DevOps engineers to uphold standards of software craftsmanship and continuous improvement. Prototype and assess new technologies, evaluating their feasibility and integration potential. Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency. Participate in on-call rotations to improve alert systems and automate remediation processes. Lead reviews following incidents, focusing on blameless analysis and systemic improvements. Foster knowledge sharing about DevOps practices across teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with expertise in Site Reliability, DevOps, or Release Engineering. Strong programming background in languages such as Python, .NET, or Java. Recent experience with Cloud infrastructure (Azure and AWS). Proficiency in Shell Scripting (PowerShell and Bash). Deep understanding of Azure/AWS services (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS). Experience with automation and source configuration management tools like Git. Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Travis CI. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A commitment to transforming to a DevOps culture with continuous integration practices. Experience in building platforms for observability and automated diagnostics. Preferred Experience: Experience in deploying highly available cloud-native systems at scale using IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
