We are excited to expand our team and are looking for talented Fullstack Software Engineers who thrive on developing both APIs and UIs. In this role, you will create products that enhance the post-purchase experience for leading retail brands, directly impacting our customer-facing solutions. What You Will Do: Frontend Development (Primary Focus): Implement new product features and enhance existing functionalities. Develop frontend platform components utilized in our internal and external products and e-commerce storefronts such as Shopify and Salesforce. Collaborate with senior engineers to improve our architecture and uphold code quality standards. Work alongside product and design teams to convert wireframes and mockups into operational UI components. Backend Development (Secondary Focus): Participate in the creation and maintenance of backend services using Golang and Node.js. Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP), CI/CD, and deploy code and infrastructure components. Interact with databases such as PostgreSQL, Spanner, and BigQuery. Understand and implement RESTful or GraphQL APIs. Qualifications: A BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience building reliable, scalable, and quality systems. Proficiency in frontend frameworks, preferably React, Svelte, Angular, Vue, or Ember. Experience building software with Node.js or Golang. Background in developing consumer-facing applications utilizing various APIs from a microservices backend. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus. Strong grasp of the full development lifecycle and computer science fundamentals. An emphasis on code quality and conducting code reviews. Experience mentoring other engineers. Startup experience is highly preferred, with a mindset geared towards growth and product engineering. Why Narvar?
