Responsibilities:
Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of sophisticated network solutions to fulfill business needs Uphold network standards, policies, and best practices to guarantee consistency, reliability, and security across the organization Collaborate closely with the Security team to ensure safety best practices are enforced effectively and at scale Design, deploy, and sustain SD-WAN solutions, ensuring performance, security, and reliability Design, deploy, and support wireless solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability Implement and maintain security measures for both wired and wireless networks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and apply innovative network technologies and solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business value Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to advise on strategic investments and improvements to the network infrastructure Act as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex network issues, providing insights and guidance to resolve critical incidents and outages Regularly share best practices and enhance processes within and across teams Identify and support resource requirements, evaluate operational processes, and measure outcomes to ensure desired results, demonstrating flexibility and fostering continuous learning Configure and maintain SD-WAN edge devices, gateways, and controllers for dynamic traffic routing, QoS, and security policies Work with stakeholders and team members to create tailored SD-WAN designs and configurations Monitor network performance and proactively address issues to minimize downtime and maximize uptime Serve as a mentor and role model, assisting in the development of the technical skills and knowledge of our engineering and product community Influence and educate executives on network-related matters Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance activities
